From tracking workforce trends to analyzing community AI readiness, this internship is more than a resume builder, it’s your chance to make a measurable difference in a city on the rise.
Program Overview
The AI Ready RVA Internship is a 10-week immersive experience designed for students passionate about research, data analysis, and community innovation. As a Data Analyst Intern, you’ll work alongside a small, mission-driven team to organize, analyze, and present data that will serve as the foundation for Richmond’s long-term AI strategy. This is your opportunity to turn messy, meaningful data into stories that guide real change.
Who Can Apply?
The internship is open to U.S. citizens or permanent residents who are students at a CCI CVN institution. We’re looking for rising juniors or seniors with a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working with public datasets. Experience with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, or SPSS is a plus, but curiosity and a willingness to learn are essential.
Program Perks
Commit 10 hours per week from June 2 to August 8 and earn $20/hour while gaining real-world experience in data analytics.
