Background
Yixin Sun is an Assistant Professor in CS and ECE at the University of Virginia. Her research focuses on network security and privacy. Her works have received real-world deployment by companies such as Let’s Encrypt, been granted a US patent, and was the runner-up for the Casper Bowden Award for privacy-enhancing technologies. Prior to UVA, she received her PhD in CS from Princeton University in 2019, and BA in CS and Math from the University of Virginia in 2013.
