AI Security Engineer

Verizon is seeking an AI Security Engineer responsible for developing a reusable automation framework that integrates AI-centric security tools into developer workflows and enterprise AI platforms across multiple business units. In this role, the engineer identifies and implements appropriate technologies to help ensure systems remain secure and that potential risks are detected and mitigated before they emerge as real threats. The AI Security Engineer drives the adoption of AI security capabilities throughout the organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that AI systems are securely designed, deployed, and operated at scale. This includes embedding security practices into development pipelines, evaluating emerging AI security technologies, and contributing to enterprise-wide strategies that enhance overall AI risk management.
