Generative AI Engineer

As a Generative AI Engineer with MITRE, the role focuses on researching, developing, and integrating advanced generative AI and large language model (LLM) solutions to support complex government and national security missions. Responsibilities include building and evaluating AI prototypes, fine-tuning and optimizing models, supporting Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative AI capabilities. The position also involves applying machine learning, prompt engineering, and MLOps practices while communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
