This research aims to improve cybersecurity for autonomous vehicles by using machine learning to detect data attacks on their internal networks.

The project specifically uses machine learning to detect data attacks on Controller Area Network (CAN) buses to then make the system applicable to various vehicle types. It involves developing a specialized neural network system and offers students practical cybersecurity experience through collaboration with Perrone Robotics Inc.
