“The internship is going great, and I’m particularly excited to be working on a project that’s both engaging and impactful for the community, especially since it involves the ballots of my own communities. I’m currently developing a referendum voting app for the state of Virginia to help transition to a paperless voting system. My main focus has been optimizing code and implementing best practices, and through this experience, I’ve gained valuable insights into project coordination and management while collaborating closely with my team.”
